Public Transportation
- Take the 1 train to the 66th Street stop. Head north on Broadway to West 68th Street. Turn right on West 68th Street and head east to 40 West 68th Street (south side of the street), between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West.
- Take the B or C train to the 72nd Street stop. Head south on Central Park West to 68th Street. Turn right on West 68th Street to 40 West 68th Street (south side of the street), between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West.
- York Prep School can also be accessed from the following bus routes: M66, M72, M7, M10, and M11.

By Car
From the east side:
- Take 66th Street west to Central Park West and go north on Central Park West to West 69th Street.
- Turn left on 69th Street and again on Columbus Avenue.
- Turn left on 68th Street. The school is at the middle of the block on your right side.
From the West Side Highway:
- Take the 79th Street exit and head east to Columbus Avenue
- Turn right on Columbus Avenue to West 68th Street
- Turn left on 68th Street. The school is at the middle of the block on your right side.
Please note there is a parking garage on the north side of 68th Street, just past the school on your left (the school is on the right) before reaching Central Park West.
